Introducing a new type of tatami yoga mat made from rush grass that has been approved by yoga instructors. This mat uses rush grass grown in Kyushu, Japan, and is proudly made in japan. Each stalk is thick, with a thick outer skin and fine fibers, making it elastic and durable. Rush grass has natural air purifying properties and humidity regulating properties. The backing is made of PVC rubber, the same as traditional yoga mats, which makes it non-slip and cushioned. The rush grass has been treated with an antibacterial and deodorizing process (Aomori hiba treatment). Drawing inspiration from the natural comfort of tatami, it can also be used as a beautiful and functional interior mat.
