Obiya Sutematsu (Nishijin Textile, Kyoto)
Obiya Sutematsu” is well-known to kimono connoisseurs.
Since its establishment, this long-established weaving company has been consistently engaged in the entire process from designing to weaving, and has been making products with a high degree of care and attention.
They are well known for their unique obis, and have many fans among kimono lovers because of their unique design.
For women, with free tailoring

Color: Charcoal gray and gold
Pattern: Birds and animals such as lions, deer, and birds, as well as flowers, are designed on a ground with fine vertical stripes.
This obi is colorful, gorgeous, and has a unique and dignified atmosphere.
It is an obi suitable for parties, ceremonies, and other gorgeous occasions.

Delivery Time
It will be tailored and delivered in approximately two weeks.

Please note that returns are not accepted after tailoring.

The tailoring will be in the Fukuro obi style (with cotton lining sewn on both ends to form a bag-like structure).

If you prefer a Bunko-obi style or silk lining, please order those options separately.

Obi Care Instructions

  • Do not store it in a plastic bag. Keep fragrance sachets or mothballs away from direct contact with the obi, as they can cause discoloration or stains.
  • After wearing, hang the obi on a kimono hanger before storing it.
  • Even if not worn for a long time, air it out in a shaded area on a clear day to prevent damage and ensure long-term use.
